From Hebrew ��ר� (Ah�r�n), possibly meaning "bearer of martyrs", or perhaps also, or instead, related to the Ancient Egyptian "aha rw" ("warrior lion", though it has been suggested to also mean "elevated", "exalted" or "high mountain").
