Etymology
From Latin Habacuc, from Hebr. ��ק�ק|�ֲ�ַקּ�ּק (Ḥavaqqūq or Ḥ��aqqûq) a prophet of the Old Testament and Jewish Tanakh. The name comes either from the Hebrew word ��ק habhak meaning "embrace" or else from an Akkadian word hambakuku for a kind of plant.
