Etymology
blend|charity|mugger first appeared in print in London newspaper Metro's Say What Column in June 2002, as an invention of jounalist Keith Barker-Main.
CHUGGERS : licensed charity muggers in coloured tabards and clipboards that pounce on you at every Tube entrance in town, as they attempt to sign you up to their cause. Ok it may be altruistic but enough already!
