Etymology
From It. caffè < Turk. kahve < Arab. ARchar|���ة (qahwa) �coffee� < w:Kaffa|Kaffa, an ancient province of Ethiopia where coffee is said to have originated.

Many sources state that the Arabic term also meant �wine�.
