Etymology
Ancient Greek �νε�μονία, �λε�μονία (pneumonia, pleumonia lung disease), from �νε�μ�ν, �λε�μ�ν (pneum�n, pleum�n lungs). The later spellings in �ν- (pn-) are perhaps influenced by �νεῦμα (pneuma, breath).
