| noun - (Christianity) An early heresy which maintained apostate priests were incapable of administering the sacraments, in distinction to the (still-current) orthodox view that any sacrament administered by a properly ordained priest or bishop is valid, no matter how sinful he is, no matter even if he has converted to another religion.
