Creative Communication
Poetry Contest: They award over $50,000 in prizes to young poets each year. Poets in grades 4-12 can send in one poem 21 lines or less. You can get full contest information or enter online or mail an entry. Teachers who have 5 or more students selected to be published receive a free copy of the anthology that contains their student�s poem. Poetic Power is a free bi-annual newsletter that has tips for teaching poetry.
